ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) is a program administered by Mental Health-Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County. A prototype design was developed and built on two sites in Houston. The facilities include offices, play areas, conference rooms, break rooms and classrooms for pre-school children who, along with their parents, need help overcoming various forms of mental retardation and disability. Interior design features emphasize bright colors and playful accents appropriate for children's facilities.
